Claudia Moreno is the Office Manager for Wills Valley Family Medicine. She has been an important part of Dr. Koe’s clinic staff since 2008! Claudia lives in Collinsville, AL with her two beautiful children, and has lived here since arriving in the US when she was 11 years old. After graduating high school, Dr. Koe immediately hired her to work at the clinic at age 18, and aside from a year or two spent elsewhere, she returned 8 years ago and has been on the team ever since. Claudia began part time at the clinic after being recommended by the Collinsville librarian for her admirable work ethic and industrious nature.
In the years that followed, Claudia was hired full time, and has continued to study and learn as much as possible about overseeing a medical office in a managerial role. Her many skills include directing employees for Dr. Koe, diving deeper into medical coding and billing, and learning accounting skills. She is also a trained phlebotomist and lab assistant.
At Wills Valley Family Medicine, Claudia’s many roles include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing referrals, and handling medical records. Claudia is also in charge of staff, and available to answer any questions you have about insurance, prior authorization, drug coverage, billing and appointments. She is always available for your phone calls and will do her best to help you in any way she can. Claudia is bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English, so she is also available for interpretation and translates the clinic handouts and correspondence when needed.
Claudia’s role on the Agroshare team centers on her importance to Dr. Koe in her clinical practice. She helps keep Dr. Koe organized and manages much of what she does! Claudia is also involved in some of our team’s other social media platforms and the multilingual communication for both Agroshare and Wills Valley Family Medicine.
